Semi-automated Parking Garage under Bridge
The mechanical parking garage under Shimen Bridge has been officially put into use. Five mechanical semi-automated parking system are embedded under the Shimen Bridge. After entering the parking lot, citizens can collect cards and swipe them to find the corresponding location to park.
This equipment is a mechanically upgraded translation structure, using advanced hydraulic power equipment and leveling positioning system in China to improve parking and retrieval speed and safety. It is the first case of space utilization under a bridge in the central urban area.
The mechanical parking garage project is located directly below the south approach bridge of Shimen Bridge, between the Han Yu Road and the auxiliary road, adjacent to Chongqing Cancer Hospital and Jinsha Port. Utilizing the idle space under the bridge, a total of 5 mechanical parking devices are installed, providing approximately 170 parking spaces.
The completion of this project will effectively alleviate the problem of parking difficulties around the tumor hospital, play a certain role in easing traffic along the entire route, and provide convenience for the surrounding residents.
